Children's favourite Simple Simon makes an appearance in a brand new pantomime for all the family.

"A Christmas Tale" is just about as Christmassy as it comes!
It is the day before Christmas Eve, and the mean landlord Caliban Croak (Michael Flagg) is threatening to evict lovable Dame Dolly Dumpling (Peter Such) from her cottage unless she pays the rent which he has recently  increased ! He then bumps into her beautiful neice Holly Leaf (Tiffany Hemings) and offers to forgo the rent, in return for Holly's hand in marriage.

Holly however, is in love with the village woodcutter Jack Frost (Samuel Del Nevo) but we know that the course of true love rarely runs smoothly. Luckily, Simple Simon (Gordon Clarkson) and his pet cat Tommy (Nathan Lamb) are on hand to help get the better of Caliban Croak, and with magical assistance from the beautiful Christmas Tree Fairy (Rosi Cornwell ) may just win the day !

While this domestic crisis is running, things are also looking bad on a larger scale- The evil Ice Queen ( Jill Rankin) is plotting to kidnap Father Christmas so that the children of the world will lose their imagination and belief in magic, leaving the way clear for her to creep into their subconcious. Somehow both these thrilling stories become intermingled, and the good guys fight becomes global !

This show engages all the family from the very beginning in Song, Dance, and Comedyplus lots of audience participation right up to the marvellous Christmas Songs finale. The show is packed with beautiful costumes and settings, and with live music from The Max Rennie Duo  is a festive treat for all ages.
